West Star has announced that Jim Ellis has been appointed the new Avionics Technical Sales Manager at their East Alton, IL (ALN) facility.
Jim will work directly with the avionics sales and technical teams to provide support to current and new customers.
Jim has more than 26 years of avionics experience, formally serving as avionics senior crew chief and serving Air Force and Illinois National Guard.
“Jim brings a vast knowledge of avionics installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance to this position,” said Marty Rhine, Vice President of Sales (ALN).
“He has a clear understanding of airframe and related system maintenance requirements.
“It is not often that we are fortunate enough to bring on someone with this much technical experience and familiarity with our services”.
