Thierry Barré is new MD at TAG Aviation Farnborough Maintenance Services Centre

Thierry Barré has been appointed Managing Director of TAG Aviation Maintenance Services’ Farnborough Airport, UK service centre.

Previously technical director of a business jet MRO based in Europe, Barré joins TAG’s Maintenance Services Centre with immediate effect. He brings extensive customer relations expertise and strong MRO experience to the position.

Cyrille Pillet, VP Maintenance Operations, TAG Aviation Europe, noted: “Thierry Barré’s background and expertise will enable us to continue advancing the Farnborough site in line with our growth strategy.”

The previous MD of Farnborough Maintenance Services, Pillet’s focus is now on TAG Aviation’s base maintenance operations at group level. Under TAG Aviation Maintenance Services’ harmonisation initiatives, he becomes responsible for overseeing operations at the organisation’s primary Farnborough and Geneva sites.

TAG Aviation’s Pan-European network of line and base maintenance stations supports Dassault and Bombardier operators.

TAG Aviation’s history dates back to 1966 and its wider range of business aviation services includes aircraft management, charter, maintenance and FBO provision. It manages a global fleet of more than 120 aircraft, with around 60 available for charter.

Headquartered in Geneva, TAG Aviation employs in excess of 1,200 staff worldwide, including almost 600 pilots and cabin crew.
