A Silicon-valley business aviation startup, Surf Air, has abandoned its presence and operations in Europe and has put the division up for liquidation after only two years.
The company, headquartered in California, had hoped to break out of its US-only market with the European arm.
The company has removed all of its European destinations from its website.
A spokesperson for the company stated that the European arm has become insolvent.
