Stobart Group has appointed a female director to its board after a row over executive diversity at the group.
In an effort to address criticism of its boardroom – in which no woman sits – Stobart is to appoint, Ginny Pulbrook, a partner at PR frm, Camarco.
Pulbrook is the former co-founder of agency, Citigate Dew Rogerson and has vast experience in city PR, according to the airport.
Pulbrook will join the group as a non-executive airport commencing October 1st.
Earlier in the summer, the group stated that at least one female director would be appointed to the board in the coming months.
Pulbrook marks the first female director appointed since 2013.
