StandardAero acquires MRO provider Safe Aviation Solutions

Maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider StandardAero has announced the acquisition of Safe Aviation Solutions, the former B&E Group MRO subsidiary.

The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said the purchase would enable them to continue the expansion of their Components, Helicopters & Accessories (CH&A) division, as well as its MRO and component repair services.

“Like StandardAero, Safe Aviation Solutions has a strong growth trajectory and is focused on serving…aerospace programs and operators around the world,” said Russell Ford, chairman & CEO of StandardAero.

“The company is a very strategic fit for StandardAero and is well positioned to capture additional new programs and also expand its scope of services on current programs.”

Based in South Florida and with a staff of approximately 120, Safe Aviation Solutions tests and provides MRO services of engine fuel system components, pneumatic/hydraulic/actuation systems and aircraft power generation systems.

“With Safe Aviation Solutions on our team, we now have additional accessories and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) repair capabilities to round out our Component Services business unit,” said Rick Stine, President of StandardAero’s CH&A Division.

“I’m looking forward to a bright and growing future as we begin integrating our businesses.”
