South Carolina FBO competes $14.5m hanger instillation

Cerulean Aviation, who operate the FBO at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in the US state of South Carolina, has recently completed a $14.5m project to install a pair of new heated hangars.

The installation includes a 20,000 square foot corporate hangar which is currently leased by Michelin North America and a 34,000 square foot tenant and aircraft storage hangar. Up to eleven jets are stored in the second hangar.

These new hangar facilities reinforce our mission to provide convenient and user-friendly services to support air transportation in the Upstate,” said Dave Edwards, GSP’s president and CEO.

“The project also helps us extend additional customer service to those using our fixed-base operator services.”

“As a mobility company, our core mission at Michelin is to give people a better way forward,” said Joanie Martin, chief administrative officer for Michelin North America.

“That’s why we appreciate good corporate partners like GSP and their commitment to improving mobility for the Upstate.”
