Sonoma Jet Center has been awarded by NATA as an ‘above and beyond FBO’ presented at the Aviation Leadership conference earlier this week.
The Sonoma FBO, located at Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport in California raised around $20,000 in funds to help colleagues of the airport after their houses and belongings were damaged in recently wildfires in the state.
Half a million US dollars was also raised for the wider community for long-term relief.
NATA stated that the award was in recognition of this altruistic effort as well as the FBO’s commitment to furthering safety.
