Sheltair pledges to support Embry-Riddle’s Project Liftoff

Sheltair announces its formal commitment to support Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s O’Maley College of Business Project Liftoff Program.

The family-owned Fixed Base Operation and real estate development company, which has been noticeable for supporting the future of young aviation professionals, has pledged a multi-year formal financial commitment to the aviation program through May 2025.

Liftoff funds each student’s undergraduate education by removing financial pressures so students can entirely focus on their academic and personal/professional growth.

“Sheltair is committed to supporting the future of aviation and is thrilled to commit to the success of Project Liftoff,” said Lisa Holland, Sheltair’s President.

“Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is a top-level aviation education provider, rendering some of the industry’s best and brightest future leaders.

“The work Project Liftoff seeks to accomplish is one we wholeheartedly support; Sheltair looks forward to seeing these future leaders make a difference in the aviation industry.”

Beyond its financial contribution, Sheltair is also committed to helping students with speaking engagements, internships, and job-shadowing opportunities to benefit from the real-life experiences of working as an aviation professional.

In addition to scholarship monies and experiential opportunities, students within the Liftoff Program benefit from increased mentorship, tutoring and advising relationships, and early access to campus for a smooth transition to the university.

All Project Liftoff students major or minor in business to ensure they have the acumen for success in future leadership roles.
