Senior Honeywell executive Esposito to leave company

Carl Esposito, a senior executive at Honeywell Aerospace, is leaving the company to join Lear Corporation, a seating and electrical systems manufacturer in the automotive industry.

The move brings to a close Esposito’s near 30-year long career with Honeywell, most recently as the president of their electronics solutions strategic business unit.

He leads a global workforce of more than 6,500 in this most recent position and oversees strategy, product development and sales for the $5 billion electronics business.

“Carl will be an outstanding president of E-Systems during this time of accelerated industry growth and change,” said Lear Corporation president and CEO Ray Scott.

“He is a highly analytical and strategic technology business leader who will leverage his tremendous expertise in electronics, software, and connectivity to further enhance E-Systems’ strong product platforms.”

Esposito’s other positions at Honeywell included v-p of marketing and product management, v-p of avionics systems marketing and product management, and v-p of business and general aviation worldwide sales.
