Safe Flight promotes grandson of founder to position of president

Safe Flight Instrument Corp. has announced the appointment of Matthew Greene as president, reporting to company CEO and chairman Randall Greene.

Matthew joined the aviation safety system manufacturer in 2004, working in a number of positions in sales and marketing, contracts, and program management.

“I look forward to his leadership and growth for the company as we complete our 73rd year providing leading-edge safety, performance, and control systems to the aerospace industry,” said Randall.

Matthew’s most recent role was executive v-p of the company, which his grandfather Leonard Greene established shortly after the end of World War II.

“It is a tremendous honour for me to serve as president of this iconic company that my grandfather founded in 1946, an organization that has been under family leadership for three generations and over seven decades,” said Matthew. “I look forward to the opportunity in guiding the strategic direction of Safe Flight.”
