A private aircraft was involved in an incident with an Air New Zealand plane at Gisborne Airport recently causing damage to the commercial airliner.
An investigation has been opened after the private jet started its engines close to the Air New Zealand aircraft causing the flight to be cancelled, while the private jet took off as planned.
Eastland Group has opened separate investigations into the incident. It is stated that no passengers were at risk.
