Planet Nine welcomes Gulfstream G550 to its charter fleet

Private charter operator and aircraft management company Planet Nine Private Air has announced the addition of a Gulfstream G550 business jet to its managed fleet.

The privately-owned aircraft joins a G650, from the same owner, which entered into charter flight service for Planet Nine in June, as well as the company’s five Dassault Falcon 7Xs

“We are delighted to be adding a second managed aircraft for a private owner inside six weeks and just after our first birthday,” said Matt Walter, Co-Founder of Planet Nine.

“We have expanded our operations and client support team accordingly in readiness for the Gulfstreams, as well as taken on more hangar space at Van Nuys Airport.  We are very proud to be offering a dedicated management division, with a different, popular aircraft type,” he added.

The Van Nuys, California based operator has pledged “full transparency on costs, a tailored program throughout the year and close collaboration with the aircraft’s owner”, which it says will help it to maximise use of both the G550 and G650.

The company confirmed that the new G550 is available to charter through their aircraft management division, while their G650 has already completed flights to the Mediterranean, Fiji, and Australia.
