Planet Nine Private Air, the California based private charter operator and aircraft management company, has announced the addition of a privately-owned Gulfstream G650 to its managed fleet.
The aircraft will be available for third party charter through the Van Nuys based company’s aircraft management division.
“This is a major endorsement for Planet 9 to be adding managed aircraft alongside our own fleet after just one year of operations,” said Matt Walter, Co-Founder of Planet 9.
“We pledge full transparency on costs, a tailored program throughout the year and will work closely with the owner to maximize the asset when available for charter.”
The G650, built in 2015, will join the five Dassault Falcon 7Xs already operated by Planet 9 and will be joined by a Gulfstream G550 from the same owner in the following weeks.
The charter company has employed in-house Gulfstream trained maintenance technicians to support the Gulfstream G650 and its sister model G550.
“We have been gearing up to support this aircraft type for months now and are especially delighted to be expanding into third party aircraft management with such a popular aircraft type,” said Walter.
