Nextant Aerospace is accelerating production of the Safe Flight AutoPower system kit for its 604XT Pro Line Fusion flight deck upgrade package. The system offers 604XT operators automatic speed control from take-off to touchdown, providing smoother speed changes during transitions.
Other features included AoA and N1 flight envelope speed limit protection, engine synchronisation, real-time power limits and IAS/MACH/N1 speed management.
AutoPower also enhances pilot situational awareness, reduces crew workload, extends range/payload potential and improves passenger comfort. Mark O’Donnell, Nextant Aerospace Executive Vice President, noted: “Almost half the aircraft delivered in Q1 have included the Safe Flight AutoPower upgrade, with more booked well into second quarter and beyond.”
Nextant’s 604XT Fusion flight deck upgrade for the Bombardier Challenger 604 complies with upcoming 2020 mandates. It is exclusively offered through Constant Aviation.
