NetJets takes delivery of 100th Cessna Latitude

Private jet operator NetJets has reached the milestone of acquiring its 100th Cessna Citation Latitude, just three years after taking delivery of the jet for the first time in June 2016.

The Latitude jet is NetJets’ best-selling aircraft and has been sold exclusively to fractional owners, a fact Patrick Gallagher, president of sales and marketing, said shows the success of the shared ownership model.

“After three years and 100 airplanes, we still have people with advance deposits waiting on future airplanes to be delivered,” said Gallagher.

“Without question, it is a pretty powerful testament to the relevance and market’s desire for the fractional program.”

NetJets initially ordered 25 Latitudes in 2012, with the option of 125 more – the company has now exercised 110 of these options, with more expected over the next year.

It’s the perfect combination of cabin volume and comfort, range, and economics,” said Gallagher of the aircraft’s appeal. “At the price point, you get a wonderfully comfortable cabin.”

The Latitude is especially popular with customers in New Jersey, Palm Beach and Florida in the U.S. and Paris and Geneva in Europe.

“We’re looking forward to continuing our relationship with Textron Aviation with this milestone delivery,” said Adam Johnson, NetJets chairman and CEO.

“We are committed to providing our owners with exceptional service and a seamless travel experience and look forward to continuing to expand our industry-leading fleet.”
