A pilot has suffered a minor injury after crashing a small plane near Triangle North Executive airport in Louisburg, NC last week.
The pilot of the small aircraft was attempting to land at the airport when they crashed into a series of trees half a mile from the runway.
It was reported by ABC11 that the pilot suffered a shin injury but will not receive treatment in hospital.
The report notes that the pilot was likely to have survived due to a harness.
