Million Air has began work on constructing a new FBO at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas.

The company, based in Houston, Texas, are building the third FBO at the airport at a cost of over $40m. It is anticipated to open next summer.

The facility will mark the 31st FBO in its entire network, and its fourth in the Lone Star state.

The FBO will include a 14,500 square-foot  terminal, a passenger lounge and pilot lounge with ample space and other corporate rooms.

Seven acres of ramp space have been designated for the FBO, which can accommodate aircraft of any size.

Interestingly, seven hangars at the FBO will be customizeable, allowing business jet owners and operators to shelter their aircraft in the way they want.

Roger Woolsey, CEO of Million Air, stated “our belief in Austin and its growth into a top national and international business and entertainment destination drives our investment in market-changing ventures.

“Beyond a cutting-edge facility, world-class service is of paramount importance in our vision for Million Air Austin”.
