MEC successfully renews the FAA Part 145 approval

Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC), the Philippines based Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) station of Hong Kong-based Metrojet Limited, has recently renewed the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Agency Certificate to perform Line and Base Maintenance on Gulfstream G450, G550, G650/G650ER and Bombardier Global Express, 5000, 6000; Challenger 300/350; 604/605 and Global 7500 aircraft.

The FAA certification also includes the servicing and overhaul of aircraft batteries and wheel assemblies in our dedicated workshops.

“Since the opening of the new Metrojet Engineering Clark hangar facility in April 2021, we have seen multiple maintenance requests coming from the Philippines US-registered aircraft,” said Mr Sarith Vaikuntan, General Manager of Metrojet Engineering Clark.

“The renewal of the FAA certification once again affirms MEC’s efforts in servicing the N-reg aircraft in the region. With the recognition, our team will continue to provide quality services to international standards.”
