Lyon-Bron Airport receives IS-BAH certificate

General aviation airport Lyon-Bron, part of the wider Vinci Airports group, announced it has achieved the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handlers (IS-BAH) certification.

IS-BAH certification demonstrates an adherence to a set of global industry best practices for business aviation ground handlers, based on a safety management system.

“We are very proud of the work carried out by our teams to obtain this certification which demonstrates our professionalism and investment to satisfy our customers, including the most demanding, and thus to reaffirm their confidence,” said Pierre Marnotte, airport director.

The Vinci launch of an internal quality label, “Vinci Airports Executive Handling”, on its network of five FBOs in South-East France directly links to Lyon-Bron’s success, said the airport.

Vinci Airports, which also owns London Gatwick, achieved positive results in 2018 throughout its French network, with a growth of 14 per cent in aircraft movements at the five French airports handling business aviation, including 36 per cent growth at Lyon-Bron airport.
