Kansas regional bank expands into business aviation financing

Equity Bank, a regional Wichita-based bank with $4 billion in assets, has announced its move into business aviation, through the creation of an aircraft financing division.

The new department is headed by vice president of business aviation at Equity Morgan Littell, who oversaw a similar project at UMB Bank in Kansas City before making the move to Wichita.

“She is the epitome of a customer-oriented banker who will be focused on client needs in a full range of aircraft financing, to include new and used piston-powered aircraft, turboprops, and jets,” said Equity executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO) Craig Anderson.

“The development of our new aircraft finance division gives current and future customers an opportunity to improve their business travel.”

Littell brings more than 20 years of aviation industry experience to Equity, having previously worked for Raytheon Aircraft (now Textron Aviation Beechcraft) in their sales and marketing department.

Her other positions include roles at Sentient Jet and Ametek B&S Aircraft Parts & Accessories.

Equity bank, which operates 52 branches in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, say they can “not only guide you through the loan process, but can also connect you with other aviation specialists through their vast network of resources.”
