Jet Aviation showcase new Teterboro hangar in sneak preview reception

Business aviation services company Jet Aviation has held a preview for the new hangar at its Teterboro Airport FBO, which is close to being ready for use by tenants.

Jet Aviation senior v-p regional operations USA, David Best, showcased the 40,000 sq ft facility to visitors during a sneak preview reception at the airport.

The hangar has doors which are 30 feet high and is designed to accommodate business jets up to the size of the Bombardier Global 7500, with customisable offices and energy efficient LED lighting also included in the setup.

The company, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, spent over $20 million on the hangar and renovations to its Teterboro FBO, including upgrades to the passenger and flight crew amenities and updated design elements which match its other FBOs.

The renovations at Teterboro are part of a company-wide project to improve all its US facilities, including its FBOs at West Palm Beach, Florida, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Dallas, Texas.

The company is also planning to build new FBOs at Van Nuys Airport in California and Scottsdale in the Phoenix area.
