Jet Aviation gains GACA Part 151 certification for Jeddah FBO

Jet Aviation has received the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Part 151, certification of compliance in Saudi Arabia, for its FBO facility in Jeddah.

The certification requirement and process were implemented in March 2016, mandating all ground service providers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to demonstrate operational readiness and compliance with GACA Part 151.

Khaled Al-Ghamdi, general manager of Jet Aviation in Saudi Arabia, said: “This certificate demonstrates that we meet all regulatory requirements for ground service providers in the Kingdom, including quality assurance, emergency response and safety management.

“We have submitted applications to demonstrate compliance for all of our locations in Saudi Arabia and expect the audits of our facilities in Riyadh and Yanbu to take place this year, with Medina following in 2020.”

Jet Aviation is exhibiting at Saudi Airshow 2019 at Riyadh’s Thumamah Airport from March 12 (today) through to March 14. The company is hosting GACA officials tomorrow (March 13), where it will officially be presented its GACA Part 151 certificate.
