Jet Aviation appoints new head of Flight Services for EMEA and Asia

Jet Aviation has appointed Norbert Ehrich as its new vice president of flight services for Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia, effective immediately.

Mr Ehrich, former vice president of sales for Jet Aviation’s flight services in South East US and South America, will take-over from Jürg Reuthinger, who retired at the end of 2018 after more than 35-years of service.

In his new role, Mr Ehrich is responsible for overseeing operations of Jet Aviation’s aircraft management and charter business throughout EMEA and Asia. He will also use his experience in the US to strengthen alignment between regional operations.

Stefan Benz, senior vice president of operations at EMEA, said: “Having served in various leadership roles across our regions and services, Mr Ehrich brings deep knowledge of the company to this position. I’m  confident he will continue to expand and strengthen our service offerings in the region to consistently exceed customer expectations.”

In 1999, Mr Ehrich was appointed general manager of Jet Aviation’s FBO and MRO operations in Saudi Arabia, based in Jeddah. Four years later, he returned to the US as general manager of the MRO and FBO operation in Palm Beach, to lead Jet’s Southern FBO operations.

When Jet Aviation expanded to Brazil in 2010, Mr Ehrich established an MRO, hangarage and charter operation at Sorocabo. He has been responsible for aircraft management Sales in his current position since 2014.

Mr Ehrich has now relocated to Zurich, Switzerland and reports directly to Mr Benz.
