HondaJet achieves most deliveries in its class for the first half of 2019

Honda Aircraft Company has announced that it’s HondaJet has achieved more deliveries in the first half of 2019 than any other aircraft in its class.

The Japanese aircraft manufacturer based the announcement on data from the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), which showed that 17 HondaJets were delivered worldwide during the first six months of this year.

“We are thrilled that the HondaJet continues to be the aircraft of choice of our customers, both future and current,” said Michimasa Fujino, president and CEO of Honda Aircraft Company

“Maintaining our position as the most delivered aircraft in our class is a reflection of our team’s dedication to the design, service and efficient production of the most competitive very light jet.”

The HondaJet, which has now been the most delivered very light jet for over two years, also recently became the first light jet to enter service in Hawaii, with charter company Wing Spirit.

The Elite version of the jet also received type certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) earlier this month.
