HILITECH meets the highest quality standards and continues to focus on in-house training for model builders.
For the aerospace industry and its suppliers, safety is crucial, both in terms of airworthiness and product safety. The resulting rigorous specifications set this industry apart from almost all other sectors. HILITECH, known for the production of innovative lightweight components for the international aviation industry, has used the past few weeks to analyze and optimize its internal processes to ensure that the company is fit for the future. It has been officially accredited since the successful completion of the audit in May and June.
There’s no safety without quality assurance
In addition to general quality checks, quality management systems include all aviation regulations and therefore ensure that all the quality and safety requirements of aerospace customers are fulfilled, while also enabling continuous improvement.
In-house specialist training
HILITECH is a joint venture of the renowned business jet supplier F/LIST from Thomasberg in Lower Austria and the innovative Mürzhofen-based carbon composite specialist, Hintsteiner Group. The company prepares for the future by fulfilling the highest quality standards and it also supplies in-house specialist training. In September 2020, two new apprentices will start a future-oriented apprenticeship in model building at HILITECH’S in-house training facility. From the fall, they will reinforce the team which currently consists of 25 employees, including three apprentices. A successfully completed apprenticeship at HILITECH creates many interesting opportunities for young people, along with secure, long-term employment in a growing company.

HILITECH’s lightweight components and cabin systems are in demand internationally, both in private and business aviation. Compared to conventional production processes, the innovative fiber composite components achieve weight reductions of up to 25 % and thereby enable new design possibilities and spatial concepts. HILITECH components are finished with high-quality veneers, real stone, paintwork and upholstery at F/LIST. In keeping with HILITECH’S motto “Ignore Gravity”, they certainly do defy gravity in the cabins of business and private jets all over the world.
