
A former executive of Embraer, Colin Stevens, has pleaded guilty to charges of fraud after it emerged the exec had been involved in the attempted bribing a high-level Saudi Arabian government official in 2010.
It emerged that in 2010, Colin Stevens, a former VP of sales and marketing, had been involved in the bribing of the Saudi official so they would assist in buying Embraer aircraft to the country’s national oil company.
Stevens as now admitted to the offences and has agreed to a plea deal.
