FlightSafety reveal manager for new Unmanned Systems training centres

FlightSafety International has announced the promotion of Clinton Strong as manager of the company’s new Unmanned Systems training centres in Wichita, Kansas and Las Vegas, Nevada.

His responsibilities will include the development and integration of innovative solutions for Unmanned Systems training programs for drones.

Nora Ann Mishler, Unmanned Systems training for commercial and government, said: “We appreciate and value Clint’s contributions to the ongoing development of FlightSafety’s unmanned systems training program, and look forward to his leadership of our first Unmanned Systems training centres.”

The FlightSafety Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) learning centre in Las Vegas will have operations in Henderson and at the Searchlight Airfield, offering UAS practical flight training in conjunction with Praxis Aerospace Concepts.

Mr Strong holds an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot license as well as an Airline Transport Pilot certificate. He is highly experienced in drone operations and previously owned and operated a UAS business.
