Equiom, the global professional services provider, has announced a new EU importation service under its aviation business line following its expansion into the Netherlands.
The importation of aircraft into the European Union enables free circulation and is a key requirement for many business jet owners and operators. Equiom’s offering involves incorporating a Dutch entity to hold the aircraft or acting as the Dutch representative for a non-Dutch holding entity, in addition to importing the aircraft and acting as the ongoing VAT representative.
David Prescott, VAT Consultant, commented: ‘Our Equiom Netherlands office (formerly Borean Corporate and Financial Services) means we now have the substance in the Netherlands to form Dutch entities to own the aircraft and also import the aircraft into the EU (where required) which complements our other aviation services elsewhere in Europe.
