Embraer Q2 earnings report: deliveries decline

Embraer has released its Q2 earnings report for 2018 showing that its delivery of both commercial and executive jets declined compared to the same period in 2017.

The aircraft manufacturer stated that it delivered 28 commercial and 20 executive jets in Q2 2018, down from 35 commercial and 24 executive in the same period a year ago.

Embraer’s order backlog was $17.4bn at the end of the quarter with EBIT standing at $17.7m.

“The Company reaffirms all aspects of its 2018 financial and aircraft deliveries guidance, which does not include the non-recurring impact of the KC-390 cost base revision recognized in 2Q18,” the report stated.
