Embraer listed on sustainability index for nine consecutive years

Embraer  has been listed for the ninth consecutive year on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI World Universe 2018/2019).

The index lists 316 global companies that stand out for their economic, social and environmental performance, based on the analysis of several sustainability metrics. Embraer is among the five companies from the Aerospace & Defense segment.

With an overall score of 68 points, the company maintained the leadership in its sector in the criteria Supply Chain Management and Human Capital Development.

Over 3,400 companies of the S&P Global Broad Market Index from 24 sectors were invited to take part in the evaluation. The analysis is conducted by the Swiss sustainable investment company RobecoSAM.

In 2009, Embraer appeared in DJSI analysis as a “Sector Mover”, which ranks companies by the number of positions gained among their peers. In 2010, Embraer was listed in the index, and was rated “Gold Class”, reference given to companies with the best performance in their sectors.

In 2011, the Company was the Aerospace & Defense sector leader. Since then, Embraer has been listed in the DJSI World, and joins the DJSI Emerging Markets Index since it was created, in 2013.
