Embraer has developed an app exclusively for monitoring employee health, regardless of whether they are working remotely, on collective vacation, or working onsite at an Embraer facility. The daily, voluntary reporting function contributes to the identification of symptoms compatible with COVID-19, and, therefore, the anticipation of necessary actions.
The screening survey follows the model used by the Government of the State of São Paulo and provides real-time monitoring for the company’s health and safety professionals, who, if necessary, help guide employees with measures to prevent, control, and reduce the risks of transmission of COVID-19. The app is available for both Android and iPhone (iOS) users, and the tool strengthens prevention actions at all Embraer units in Brazil, by recording information used for continuous monitoring and for combating COVID-19 in the regions where the company is present.
In addition to the strict health and safety protocols established for those who need to access company facilities, such as the mandatory use of face masks, daily temperature screenings, social distancing practices, and recurrent hygienic measures for people and equipment, Embraer has also been carrying out a series of voluntary initiatives to combat the pandemic and the effects of COVID-19, including partnerships with entities in the health sector and hospitals.
