Dutch operator Exxaero expands into Germany

Private jet charter company Exxaero has announced its expansion into Germany, after receiving its air operator’s certificate from the national civil aviation authority of Germany, Luftfahrt-Bundesamt.

The Netherlands-based operator will initially operate a single Hawker Beechcraft Premier I at Weeze Airport in Germany’s Lower Rhine region, but the company expects to add more business aircraft there in the future.

“Because we have an increasing number of German customers and fly on a regular basis from Weeze, we have expanded our airline to Germany,” said Exxaero accountable manager Rogier Buij.

“The handling is even easier for German customers now [that] they can book their flights at our German branch and fly with a German-registered aircraft.”

Due to the high demand in Germany for private jet flights, Exxaero is aiming to add four more aircraft to their fleet in Weeze over the course of the next year.

Weeze-based firm Solid Handling will provide the ground handling services for Exxaero’s operations, which also includes aircraft management services and sales, in addition to their charter business.
