Duncan Aviation welcomes avionics department manager for Battle Creek facility 

Duncan Aviation recently welcomed new manager of avionics installation and line services department, Mark Kahle, to its full-service facility in Battle Creek, Michigan.

When Mr Kahle started at Duncan Aviation in 1998, he served as a wiring apprentice in the installation department, transitioning to team leader several years later. During the last several years, he has worked in the engineering and certification services department as a certification coordinator and team leader.

Nate Darlington, paint department manager at Duncan Aviation, said: “We’re thrilled to have Mark and his family make the transition to Battle Creek. His leadership, technical knowledge, and passion to serve our customers make him a great addition to the leadership team in Battle Creek. We look forward to his continued success in this new role.”

Kahle has spent his 21-year career with Duncan Aviation at its Lincoln, Nebraska, facility, and he welcomes the opportunity to work with Duncan team members and customers in his new role.

Mr Kahle said: “Duncan Aviation has provided me many opportunities during my aviation career, and I’m grateful for each of them. My transition to Battle Creek is yet another. I’m excited to join the Avionics team and am looking forward to working alongside of all of our team members as we strive to provide the best service and experience possible for each of our customers.”

After a short stint on the USS Forrestal, Mr Kahle was assigned to the patrol squadron 8 in Brunswick, Maine, where he advanced as an Aviation Electrician’s Mate. When he left the Navy, he attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where he earned a degree in Aircraft Systems Management alongside gaining his pilot’s license.
