Duncan Aviation names Scott Stoki as engine overhaul manager

Duncan Aviation has appointed Scott Stoki as the new engine overhaul manager.

In this position, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the Duncan Aviation Turbine Engine Maintenance facility located in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Stoki enjoys his new leadership role on the engine team. “The Duncan Aviation Overhaul shop has experienced significant growth over the last several years,” Stoki said.

“With the addition of the new 20,000 lb.-thrust-class test cell along with added and expanded capabilities, I want to keep that momentum going and bring this shop and team to its full potential.”

In 2005, Stoki joined Duncan Aviation’s Engine Line where he demonstrated his natural leadership abilities by advancing quickly through the ranks, taking on positions with more responsibilities.

He then transitioned into the quality department as an inspector and gained a new appreciation for detailed paperwork.

“I was able to see maintenance projects from a different perspective and learned how to ask new questions.” Stoki returned to the Engine Line as a Team Leader in 2015 where he gained more oversight and strategic planning for the department.

“We’re excited that Scott accepted the position as the Engine Overhaul Manager,” said Jeff Lake, Duncan Aviation’s chief operating officer. “He has the technical experience to do well in this position, but more importantly, he has proven himself as an outstanding leader at Duncan Aviation.

“Scott does an outstanding job in setting a vision for the shop, communicating that vision to team members, and working alongside the team to ensure success.”
