Duncan Aviation Growing Its Satellite Network, Adds Services In Oregon

Duncan Aviation has announced the opening of its additional fixed location in Aurora, Oregon, operating under the Portland Repair Station.

With space in the Charlie Hangar, conveniently located next to the only FBO on the field, Avionics Crew Lead Justin Weber will now serve Duncan Aviation’s avionics customers at the Aurora State Airport (UAO) full-time.

“Growth at the Aurora Airport has been significant over the last decade, and our techs have spent a great deal of time on the road, commuting between our Satellite here in Portland and Aurora,” says Manager of the Portland Satellite John Almeida.

“With no other shop in the area doing avionics repairs, maintenance, or testing, we’re filling a niche by locating a full-time technician there.

“There’s a small but growing community, and we have many customers on the field who rely on us exclusively for their avionics work.”

Weber spent years working with a Part 135 operator, and he has airframe experience.

He’s been at Duncan Aviation for three years now, and he’ll be setting up the additional fixed location in Aurora.

“He’s a quick learner, and we’re confident he’ll maintain Duncan Aviation’s standard for excellence and expand our business down there,” says Almeida.
