Digital shift boosts uptake of Web Manuals in the US

Web Manuals, the global leader in digital documentation for aviation, is experiencing rapid expansion of its US client base, with a 17% increase in stateside customers since the beginning of 2019.

Business aviation is leading the charge for digitization in the region, according to Web Manuals – nearly two thirds of its 69 US-based customers operate within the sector.

Krister Genmark, Director of Operations Americas, Web Manuals, says: “The digitization of American business aviation has, this year, truly taken off. To increase our US client base by almost a fifth proves that, industry-wide, people are embracing digital transformation.

“The approaching ADS-B mandate is compelling rapid avionics upgrades; seat-sharing and instant-booking private charter apps are becoming commonplace; and customers are requesting ultra-fast WiFi in their jet’s cabin as standard. Business aviation is taking advantage of the technological innovations found across commercial travel sectors.

“Demand for document digitization has rocketed in accordance with this trend. To further drive business aviation forwards, we’re launching Web Manuals 8, bringing compliant, efficient and easy document creation and editing to more customers than ever before.”

Web Manuals 8 offers a unified, multi-language experience across all devices and platforms, including smartphones and offline support via the Chrome browser. The software provides real-time updates on regulation changes, so users can make sure they are always prepared for the next flight. The system’s rapid authoring, reviewing, publishing and distributing tools also provide significant time and cost savings.

Web Manuals is a dual-coast company, with offices in New York and San Diego, giving American customers an extensive support system to call on. The company’s global client base now numbers 230 customers, a 35% increase since last NBAA.
