DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF), a joint venture between Stuttgart-based DC Aviation GmbH and Dubai-based Al-Futtaim, has received the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) Stage 1 accreditation for its ground handling operations at Dubai South.
Among the elements with which DCAF successfully achieved compliance were emergency and security procedures, airside operations, organisational structure, training protocols and operating procedures and ground support equipment.
“The successful completion of the audit was a result of months of hard work from all the teams involved and the continuous support of the management,” said Susan Bujtas, Director of Ground Operations at DC Aviation Al-Futtaim.
“The accreditation is further testament to our unwavering commitment to provide our customers with globally benchmarked services.”
An independent auditor from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) carried out the IS-BAH inspection, which is the global industry standard on safety management and risk mitigation for business aviation handlers.
“I would like to congratulate the DC Aviation Al-Futtaim team for successfully completing the IS-BAH audit,” said Terry Yeomans, Programme Director for the IS-BAH from IBAC. “The team have demonstrated a strong commitment to safety and meeting all the requirements for the IS-BAH.”
