Dassault Aviation acquires TAG Aviation’s MRO network

Dassault Aviation has announced the completion of its acquisition of business aviation services company TAG Aviation’s maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organisation.

The MRO network has been rebranded as TAG Maintenance Services (TMS) and will now operate as a wholly-owned affiliate of the French aircraft manufacturer.

“The relationship between TAG and Dassault has been built into a close-knit and formidable bond over the decades,” said TMS president Franck Madignier.

“We are delighted to enter into this new chapter with the strength of Dassault Aviation behind us and a bright future with an expanding customer base ahead of us.”

The aircraft types serviced by TMS will remain the same – including the Dassault Falcon, amongst others – with the same maintenance personnel available to customers as well.

The TAG deal is the third MRO acquisition made by Dassault Aviation this year, adding 19 additional facilities to its service network and close to 1,000 more personnel.

TAG’s service centers in Geneva, Switzerland; Farnborough, UK; Paris Le Bourget; Lisbon, Portugal; and satellite operations in Luton, UK, and Moscow are all included as part of the deal.
