Dassault announces Thierry Betbeze as new Dassault Falcon CEO

Dassault Aviation has announced the appointment of Thierry Betbeze as the new CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet, the business aviation offshoot of the business.

He replaces John Rosanvallon, who will stay on at the French aircraft manufacturer as a special advisor to Eric Trappier, chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation.

“John has built a record of success for the Falcon Jet business and our industry,” said Trappier. “We are pleased we can continue tapping into the wealth of business jet market experience he has accumulated to help improve and expand the Falcon line in the future.”

Betbeze began working at Dassault in 1984 as an accountant, before moving to export financing and eventually becoming senior v-p of finance in 2004.

“Thierry’s appointment is the latest in a number of recent changes intended to reinforce our worldwide sales, marketing, and customer-support effort,” said Trappier. “His extensive experience in international finance…will ensure the enduring success of the Falcon brand in today’s demanding business aviation environment.”
