Bent Wing Flight Services (KFHB) Ready for Republican National Convention

Bent Wing Flight Services, fixed base operator (FBO) at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport (KFHB) is pleased to welcome attendees of the Republican National Convention to Amelia Island from August 24-27, 2020.

Conveniently located approximately 3 miles from The Ritz-Carlton, 5 miles from the Omni Amelia Island and 35 miles from Jacksonville’s VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, Bent Wing offers easy access for RNC attendees. The airport features three runways ranging from 5,000 ft. to 5,301 ft., accommodating private and charter aircraft up to a Gulfstream 650.

With a private, secure ramp and facilities, the Bent Wing team is experienced in handling high-profile clients and their security teams. The full-service FBO offers fuel services, executive transportation, concierge services, crew cars and rental cars, and features a pilot lounge and flight planning room, conference room, coffee bistro and gift store.

Bent Wing Flight Services provides aircraft handling services out of a unique airport terminal that represents the World War II F4U Corsair fighter airplane, whose inverted gull wings earned it the “Bent Wing Bird” nickname. The FBO’s design pays homage to the airport’s roots – built during WWII by the U.S. Navy for training on the F4U Corsair – and those who bravely served our country.
