ASG Passes Eclipse Maintenance Milestone

ASG Ltd reports that it has recently commenced the 35th base maintenance project on the Eclipse EA500/550 light jet at its facility in Guernsey.

Base maintenance includes 300 hour/ 24 month checks and 1200 hour/ 48 month checks as well as associated P&WC engine inspections.

Since 2016, ASG has been providing base/ line maintenance and AoG support to a broad range of Eclipse jet owners and operators from across the British Isles, Europe and further afield.

This has included significant system upgrades and in 2020, a wing replacement project – the first facility outside the factory to undertake this level of structural maintenance work.

With the significant growth of Eclipse maintenance experienced over the past 18 months, ASG has recently invested in and completed Part-147 training for 3 of its licensed engineers to supplement the existing Eclipse specialists.

Adam Lunn, ASG’s Service Manager said: “I am delighted that the ASG engineering team have responded so well to growing demand for Eclipse maintenance support.

“We look forward to welcoming customers old and new to our base in Guernsey where we now have unparalleled experience and breadth of knowledge to meet whatever your maintenance requirements might be.”
