Arrow Aviation receives approval from China’s Civil Aviation Administration

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has approved maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider Arrow Aviation as a Part 145 maintenance organization.

The Louisiana-based Helicopter specialist’s certification from the CAAC adds to a growing list of maintenance approvals from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MOLIT), and Brazil’s ANAC.

“Receiving this certification from the CAAC is an honour and the result of much hard work and effort by all involved,” said Arrow general manager David Guidry.

“We appreciate the support extended to us by the CAAC during this certification process and look forward to supporting the aviation community in China with exceptional service.”

Arrow specialise in helicopter maintenance and completions from their 80,000 square feet facility Broussard, Louisiana, servicing a diverse range of operator types including commercial, offshore, corporate, and emergency medical services.

It is the only service centre to be ranked as excellent by aerospace giant Leonardo in the entire western hemisphere, barring Leonardo’s own facilities, is a Sikorsky-authorized maintenance centre, Bell-Textron customer service centre and Airbus Helicopter service centre.
