AMAC Aerospace welcomes new customers in Basel

Euroairport, October 14, 2019 – AMAC Aerospace is pleased to announce to have completed several maintenance projects and to have signed new maintenance contracts. In September, several Boeing BBJ 737 were undergoing A, B and C-Checks. Furthermore, requests for AOG support were successfully organized within 24 hours. A Head of State Boeing B747 will undergo a cabin interior enhancement and a cabin modification. For the first time, AMAC Aerospace participated in the MEBAA Show in Marrakech, Morocco.

After a busy summer season, the high pace at AMAC Aerospace facilities continues: several new contracts and projects were awarded to the Group of Companies, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland.

A highlight was the MEBAA Morocco exhibition, which took place from the 25th to the 26th of September 2019. AMAC Aerospace exhibited the first time at the show in Marrakech. The MEBAA Show is the leading business aviation platform for the Middle East & North Africa which allows exhibitors as well as visitors to access the business aviation market.

Several new contracts signed

•             AMAC Aerospace secured a contract with an Airbus ACJ 340 for a 6-year inspection. The Head of State Airbus ACJ 340 will arrive at AMAC Aerospace in November 2019. Besides the 6-year inspection, AMAC Aerospace will carry out a full cabin removal and rectification. With a developed STC, AMAC will install a KA-Band system on the VIP Airbus ACJ 340. This STC will be re-usable for other ACJ 340-customers.

•             A second maintenance contract has been signed for another Airbus ACJ 340. The Head of State Airbus ACJ 340 arrived in September in Basel, Switzerland. AMAC’s skilled technicians will carry out a 12-year inspection and in conjunction the aircraft will undergo a landing gear overhaul.

•             AMAC Aerospace are proud to welcome a new customer at AMAC Aerospace in Basel, Switzerland. The Boeing BBJ 737 arrived beginning of September and is undergoing a C-Check.  AMAC’s experienced technicians will install an ‘ADS-B Out’ (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) on the new clients’ Boeing BBJ 737.

•             For a second Boeing BBJ 737 a contract for a C-Check maintenance package was signed. The privately-owned aircraft arrived beginning of September in Basel, Switzerland.
