Airbus Corporate Jets launch ACJ TwoTwenty business jet class

This morning, Airbus Corporate Jets launched the ACJ TwoTwenty, in a new class of business and VIP aircraft that it terms ‘The Xtra Large Bizjet’. At the same time, the airframer announced Comlux as launch customer, with an order for two aircraft, although Benoit Defforge, President at ACJ, confirms total orders for six.

The companies have agreed that Comlux will exclusively complete the cabins of the first 15 ACJ TwoTwenty aircraft. According to Defforge, the ACJ TwoTwenty, based on the A220-100 regional airliner, offers field performance and range comparable to those of a ‘conventional’ long-range business jet, but with living space similar to that of an ACJ319 at a ‘very attractive’ price point.
