Air Service Hawaii to open FBO at Kona Airport

Air Service Hawaii is to open a new FBO, the first of its kind, at Kona International Airport on the pacific island.

The new FBO and private hangar project, expected to open in the autumn of 2019, is to be built by a local contractor includes a 6,900 square foot terminal and a 5,000 square foot lounge with WiFi, showers and on-site catering as well as concierge services.

The hangar at the project can also accommodate most modern, large-sized cabin aircraft.

Company director and CEO of Air Service Hawaii, Shaen Tarter, noted “After years of planning, we are extremely excited and proud to soon offer our new Kona facility aimed to surround our guests with the warmth and friendliness that is unique to the Hawaiian Islands, and consistent with the quality of service our customers expect”.
