ACJ319neo Completes Successful First Flight

Airbus Corporate Jets has announced first flight of the ACJ319neo. The aircraft completed its 1-hour 55-minute debut sortie on 24 April, beginning a short flight-test programme that will verify its corporate jet features, including the additional fuel tanks in its cargo hold.

Built for Germany’s K5 Aviation, the aircraft will be outfitted with a VVIP cabin by Fokker Techniek in the Netherlands after delivery.

Like the ACJ320neo, the ACJ319neo features new engines and wingtip Sharklets for improved aerodynamic efficiency.

K5 Aviation’s ACJ319neo is fitted with five additional centre tanks (ACTs) in its hold. Other features include a lower cabin altitude for improved passenger comfort. Airbus Corporate Jets now has 14 orders and commitments for ACJ320neo Family aircraft.
