TAG Aviation successfully completes the Wyvern Wingman safety program

TAG Aviation (UK) has successfully completed the Wyvern safety program, renewing their Wyvern Wingman Operator Status accreditation, following a rigorous onsite safety audit.

Wingman operators must successfully pass an audit which demands transparency to safety records, operational history and operating procedures, and a close evaluation of critical programs such as the Safety Management System and Emergency Response Plan.

CEO of Wyvern, Sonnie Bates, said: “The ability to continually meet the Wingman Standard benchmark is testament to an organisation’s commitment to safety.

“This certification is a testament to TAG Aviation’s continuing commitment to the highest levels of safety as well to operating the highest levels of industry accepted best practices. Their commitment to continually improving quality and safety has made them an industry leader in safety culture.”

The Wyvern Wingman standard is globally recognised as the industry’s benchmark in aviation safety and reflects a commitment to current aviation practice and the highest level of safety protocol. Leaders in safety/risk management and training, they ensure operational excellence through its flagship Wingman Program for manned aircraft operations.

Patricia Davis, Head of Compliance and Safety at TAG (UK), said: “We are proud to have had our prestigious Wyvern Wingman status renewed. It is a hugely important endorsement within the business aviation industry and underpins our investment in providing best-in-class service and operations.”

Safety is one of TAG Aviation’s core values and completion of the Wyvern Wingman audit ensures customers, industry partners and employees of the on-going commitment to maintain the highest standards at all times.
