KlasJet gains three Boeing 737-500s for European arena

Lithuania-headquarter charter operator KlasJet has taken on an additional three Boeing 737-500s which will further enhance their European arena.

AviaAM Leasing, a sister company of KlasJet’s parent company Avia Solutions Group, assisted during the take-over to ensure standards of the Boeing jets are met. They provide a full consultancy service for the jets, which will be dedicated to VIP charter operations.

KlasJet CEO, Dovydas Jurgelevicius, said they are happy to have a partner as experienced as AviaAM Leasing for the project and expect their cooperation will grow into a long-term partnership.

The company has already assisted in the take-over of the fleet and will now assist with engine acquisition, scheduled heavy maintenance and aircraft repainting into the new livery. AviaAM will then coordinate cabin reconfiguration, including business and executive seat preparation and installation works, under KlasJet’s guidance.

AviaAM Leasing chairman and CEO, Tadas Goberis, said the company is pleased that the unique business charter airline trusted them to arrange the new aircraft’s.

Once the 52 seat VIP reconfiguration is complete, the aircraft will enter service in the first half of 2019.
