Mente Group promotes Dan Dunn and hires Brian Hammer

Business aircraft brokerage and consulting company Mente Group has promoted Dan Dunn to executive vice president of transactions from vice president of transactions – a role now taken over by Brian Hammer (pictured above).

Specialising in aircraft transactions including sales, acquisitions and leasing, Dunn also has a strong discipline in transaction structure, finance, leasing and management.

He leads the Mente Transactions Group and is based in the Greater New York Metro Area. Dunn is a member of the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) and contributes to aircraft and avionics manufacturing panels and evaluation boards.

“Dan Dunn has been responsible for over $2 billion in aircraft sales, acquisitions, and leases during his career and we have grown to rely on his expertise and judgement along with his focus on the needs of our clients,” said Mente Group president and CEO, Brian Proctor. “This promotion is well deserved.”

Before joining Mente Group in 2016, Dunn served in a number of industry roles, including as a vice president of another large international corporate aviation brokerage. Prior to that, he served as the vice president of a Part 135 charter and management company, having previously managed the company’s fleet of Bombardier aircraft.
