CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGER  

FIFTEEN_PLUS  

Contract 

• Engineering degree and/or equivalent technical background experience with appropriate aircraft engineering qualifications.

• Type rating on ATR, B1900 and/or equivalent regional aircraft

• 5 years experience in similar Engineering Management Role within an airline environment. Experienced engineer with valid license.

• Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices

• Computer literacy, Languages: English, with German or French as additional language.

• Knowledge EUOPS, EASA Part M rules, regulations, operational requirements and procedures, quality systems



Key Accountabilities / Duties / Responsibilities



• Ensure that all FAT aircraft are, at anytime, airworthy and maintained from an approved EASA Part 145 maintenance organization.

• Establish and develop the continuing airworthiness policy, including the approval of FAT's maintenance program, including responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of the organization's Safety and Quality Management System.

• Revise and update, as necessary, the company CAME, Maintenance and Reliability Program, and MEL

• Ensure approval of FAT Technical Log in conjunction with FAT PFO by FOCA.

• Ensure reporting of any and all aircraft technical related occurrences to FOCA, and / or aircraft manufacturer.

• Review and implementation of any additional FOCA national requirements.

• Supervision of Maintenance Planning, Technical Representation, and Airworthiness Review staff, to include monitoring of staff to ensure that their duties are carried out in a safe and professional manner..

• Other relevant duties described in CAME

• Update, supervise, and assist with the FAR maintenance budget.

• Planning, organisation, and supervision of routine and heavy maintenance at selected vendor maintenance locations.

• Ensure that all FAT's technical staff are familiar with the contents of the CAME.

• Perform other related duties and training as assigned by Head of Maintenance.
